The Peninsula Bangkok
Bangkok
OVERVIEW
Towering over the River of Kings and ideally located close to the Grand Palace and the Asiatique Night Market you’ll find the iconic Peninsula Bangkok, where traditional Thai culture gets an elegant makeover. From sumptuous authentic cuisine to the three-tier swimming pool with views across the river and the timeless interiors of the rooms and suites, this is Thailand as you’ve never seen it before.
This urban oasis is all about the details: from the fragrant flowers picked freshly from the market every day to the faultless service you would expect from Thailand, no detail is left out in making sure your stay at The Peninsula is completely and utterly faultless. Its 370 rooms all offer incredible views of the city’s skyline and the river that snakes its way through the city below.
The restaurant makes the most of its location with a fantastically well-positioned Thai restaurant overlooking the waters of the Chao Phraya and a longtail boat which will meet you at the landing and whisk you off to the Royal Palace in a mere 15 minutes.

When to travel
Bangkok’s tropical climate is divided into three seasons: hot from March to June, wet from July to October and cool from November to February, but temperatures are around 26-31 degrees all year round, so it’s always warm. High humidity comes from the South Asian monsoon system and brings heavy rains.
WEATHER: Bangkok is almost always warm and humid, with temperatures reaching their peak between March and August.
