THE FOUR SEASONS NEW YORK

New York

OVERVIEW

Sights surround the Four Seasons New York, walking distance from Times Square, Fifth Avenue and Central Park, slap bang between Park and Madison Avenue on so-called Billionaire’s Row. Views look out over the city skyline from 52 floors – you might spot the Chrysler Building, the East River or the Empire State tower from your bed.

Design is faultless, with an I.M. Pei designed lobby held up by pillars and lined with French stone floors; room furniture is hewn from Japanese ash and English sycamore, with en-suite bathrooms bedecked in marble. And in true Four Seasons style you’ll want for nothing – whether that’s a quick recommendation for dinner from the concierge or to run an errand in the hotel’s Rolls-Royce. Nothing is too much trouble, and the restaurant staff are particularly notable for their attentiveness.

When you’re not soaking in the whirlpool tub or relaxing in the sauna, the best destinations in the city are right on the doorstep. Have your credit card handy for shopping in the famous department stores or pack a pair of walking shoes to pound the pavements, stroll around the museums or saunter around Central Park.
