Sani Club
Halkidiki
OVERVIEW
Set on a long strip of soft, white sand, Sani Club is well situated for enjoying the wonderful beaches and scenery of the Kassandra peninsula, one of Halkidiki’s three ‘prongs’. Stretching along seven kilometres of coastline, the resort is family-owned and includes an ecological reserve, wetlands, beaches and a marina with shops and restaurants. If you didn’t want to leave the resort at all it would be no problem, but it would be a shame to miss out on the beautiful surroundings of the local area.
Sani Club’s accommodation is set in low-rise bungalows surrounded by beautiful gardens. Views look out across the resort, the sparkling Aegean and the olive grove-clad hills that surround the resort. Decorated in an elegant traditional style with modern touches, all of the hotel’s rooms and suites are adorned in soft blues and whites to reflect the stunning coastal colours, with large windows to maximise light. If you want to feel like you’ve rented your own private villa then choose one of the Bungalow Suites with either a private garden or pool.
Dining out is a breeze at Sani Club, with five restaurants to choose from on site as well as the wide variety of dining establishments across the resort. You could dine on traditional Greek dishes like rich and warming moussaka in Psaroyannos, sample flavours of the Cote d’Azur overlooking the sea at Cabana, share your favourite dishes with friends at trendy Ammos or try the world’s finest caviar at Byblos.

Where to stay
Sani Club’s low-rise bungalows are beautifully appointed in shades of cream and teal, with whitewashed walls typical of the region’s pretty fishing villages. Some of the rooms enjoyed an upgrade in 2017, to extend the already generous bathrooms and provide extra outdoor space. All of the rooms and suites come with garden or sea views – we’d recommend booking one with a terrace or garden to make the most of the outdoors.

What to do
Sani Club’s location is one of its key highlights, on an unspoilt strip of beach. There are plenty of ways to enjoy this in the resort, with watersports activities and scuba diving at the Diving School. However, some of the loveliest beaches along the Kassandra Peninsula are just a short drive away, so it’s easy to hire a car and set out to explore. In the resort you’ll find mountain biking trails, a huge fitness centre, a spa and organised activities from bird watching to hikes.

What and Where to Eat
Sani Club has five restaurants to choose from, including a traditional Greek ouzerie, a relaxed beachside cabana serving French classics, a casual buffet restaurant, a pool bar and a farm-to-fork concept restaurant serving only local cuisine. However the main draw of staying here is the opportunity to try any of Sani Resort’s restaurants as part of the ‘dine around’ package.
