ROSEWOOD PHUKET

Phuket

OVERVIEW

Blissfully secluded on Emerald Bay though still within easy reach of Phuket’s numerous attractions, island-hopping tours and historic sites, the Rosewood Phuket lures you in with its location, then makes every minute spent here an effortless dream when you arrive. This is five-star Thailand at its most stylish, and most honest, a haven of locally-inspired design touches weaving themselves through otherwise contemporary grounds, private pool villas and top-notch restaurant spaces alike.

Irresistible, carefully considered décor is just the start however, as across the coastal sprawl of Rosewood Phuket you also have the hotel’s lush gardens, walkways and al fresco lounge areas to enjoy, all interspersed with several multi-angled swimming pools and sundecks. In fact, those guestroom pavilions and villas are a major highlight of booking a stay at the Rosewood Phuket, each coming with either a plunge or infinity pool, garden or Andaman Sea views, a generous furnished veranda and inspired east-meets-west décor scheme that just can’t be beaten.

Your gastronomic journey is also in able hands here, with a heady mix of fine dining restaurants and more laidback poolside haunts to enjoy, open-air kitchens overlooking the ocean, zingy cocktails by the beach, a seafood grill and everything from delicate Thai dishes to Italian-inspired small plates on offer. Then there’s the Asaya Spa, where organic oils, personalised treatment plans, ancient and modern therapies, yoga, juicing, holistic wellness and wellbeing ethos combine in an ambient area of the property, surrounded by native foliage. All of this, plus the gym, concierge, numerous day trips and instant beach access make the Rosewood Phuket an absolute gem on the southwestern coast of Thailand.
