Pine Cliffs Resort, A Luxury Collection Resort
Algarve
OVERVIEW
As family resorts in the sun go, you can’t go wrong with Pine Cliffs Resort, one of the best resorts in Portugal. The sunny stretch of Algarve coastline is home to the resort, which perches on the top of cliff overlooking the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. The setting doesn’t mean there’s no room for a beach though – they’ve thought of everything, including lift access to the sands of Falesia Beach, six kilometres of uninterrupted golden sand backed by beautiful red sandstone cliffs. From the shore it’s quite the spectacle.
For grown-ups there’s plenty of space to explore plus a fantastic spa and a golf course with a highly regarded academy, so you can improve that swing in the sun. Little ones will find plenty to do at the special 7,000 square-metre kids’ village, Porto Perata, where they can play on two life-size wooden pirate ships. There’s a mini golf course, a playground, sports courts, their own supervised pool, a bouncy castle and a huge programme of daily activities including face painting and treasure hunts. All activities are age-appropriate, with kids aged 3-4 and 5-8 catered for at the kids club. At the Junior Club there’s entertainment for kids aged 8-12 and a separate area for teens.
Stick together and you can play family golf at the mini course or upgrade to the full length course for grown up kids, learn to surf or kayak or book a family banana boat.
