Palazzo Avino

Amalfi

OVERVIEW

Widely lauded as Ravello’s most glamorous hotel, Palazzo Avino is a 12th-century former private villa and has retained its historical luxury among its 43 rooms and public spaces. Handcrafted Vietri tiles, 18th-century antiques and Frette linens combine to create a relaxing space where you can relax after busy days sightseeing in the beautiful towns along the Amalfi Coast. As well as being stunning inside and out, the hotel is a gastronomic highlight of Ravello with a Michelin-starred restaurant, Rossellini’s, one of the region’s best dining spots.

The exquisite food is perfectly married with the views: dine on the terrace and enjoy the sweeping views along the coast and down to the bobbing fishing boats a thousand feet below as you fork up dishes like cod fillet with Gaeta olive crust. Getting out to explore is easy thanks to the hotel’s location in the town.

The heart of Ravello is just five minutes’ walk away and there are plenty of delicious restaurants and bars to discover – each with a different, tantalising view. To explore further afield take the hotel’s shuttle bus down to its private beach or hire a car and explore Amalfi or Sorrento, too.
