One&Only The Palm
OVERVIEW
An oasis of calm amid the glittering skyscrapers of Dubai, One&Only The Palm is the ideal compromise between city break and beach getaway. Luxurious gardens give way to cascading fountains in an opulent resort stretching across a private peninsular on Palm Island, one of the best destinations in the Gulf. A sweep of sandy beach (private, of course) is backed by gently swaying palms, the skyscrapers just peeping over the tops of the trees.
The resort is home to three delicious restaurants all overseen by the Michelin-starred chef, Yannick Alleno, from signature dishes at fine-dining restaurant STAY and elegant all-day dining at relaxed ZEST. The tranquil Guerlain spa is small but perfectly formed, featuring the most indulgent foot therapies we’ve encountered in all our years of travel.
If the stunning beach, spectacular pool and peaceful garden aren’t enough, the hotel can arrange a plethora of activities from sand dune surfing to horse riding and world-class golfing.

One&Only The Palm is home to 66 rooms and 24 suites, including four stunning riad-style villas. The accommodation is among the largest in Dubai, each featuring either a private terrace or balcony, some with private plunge pools. What to do
The bright lights of the city are right on your doorstep, and there’s plenty to see in Dubai to keep you occupied: soar to the top of the Burj Khalifa, shop for designer labels in the Mall of the Emirates, take a dhow across Dubai Creek or perhaps head into the desert for a dune safari and dinner in a Bedouin-style camp. If you’d prefer to stay within the luxurious surroundings of the hotel, consider an afternoon at the spa time very well spent, or relax on the sands of the private beach.

What and Where to Eat
Chef Yannick Alleno has a fine-dining establishment to be proud of at The Palm, with French-inspired cuisine served by the best staff from his Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris; the set menu at STAY is excellent value for Dubai. There’s a ‘pastry library’ too, where you can create your own desserts. There are two more casual restaurants, serving Mediterranean cuisine and tapas.
