Necker Island

OVERVIEW

Imagine being able to throw a party for your closest friends and family at Sir Richard Branson’s house, enjoying all the luxuries the billionaire entrepreneur has installed. Well, you can, by booking a holiday to Necker Island, Branson’s beautiful, tropical private island home in the British Virgin Islands, one of the most picturesque outposts in the Caribbean.

Shaped like Australia, but stretching across only 74 acres, Necker is a paradise of white sand beaches, infinity pools and flocks of shocking pink ibis, a neon-hued bird that manages to complement the vibrant surroundings. Like something from Thunderbirds or James Bond, the tiny island is full of exciting features that would make an oligarch blush – even better, you’ll have it all to yourself unless you book on to one of the group stays that are on offer a few times a year.
