The bungalows are bright and spacious, and are ideal for larger families. With just 35 bungalows and only one choice of accommodation, it feels lovely and peaceful.
One of the best reasons to stay at Il Borgo is the hotel’s close proximity to the kids’ area of the hotel. If you’ve got tiny tots it’s the perfect walking distance, and little ones will enjoy the multitude of options: lovely shallow pools, great kids’ clubs for all ages, a kids-only restaurant with a menu designed by Michelin starred chef Rosanna Marziale, where adults are strictly not allowed and all manner of craft classes.
Staying at Il Borgo means access to the rest of the resort’s amazing facilities too. The resort has 21 restaurants during high season, including a Brazilian grill, fish restaurant, Heinz Beck restaurant – winner of 3 Michelin stars – and a number of Italian dining establishments ranging from creative fine dining to a relaxed trattoria or classic pizzeria.

There’s only one choice of accommodation at Forte Village, which certainly makes things easy when choosing where to stay. The Deluxe Bungalows are light and fresh thanks to a 2017 renovation. There’s plenty of room to accommodate two adults and one child, and an extra bed can be added if you wish.

The hotel underwent a transformation in 2017, so all of its rooms and facilities are sparkling. You can choose to stay nearby and enjoy the fantastic surroundings, or make the most of the facilities at the hotel. There are 21 restaurants to work your way around (some at a supplement) and the fantastic Children's Wonderland which includes pools, sports clubs, craft lessons and organised activities just for little ones. Adults can use the time when the kids are being looked after to enjoy the incredible spa.
