IKOS OCEANIA

Halkidiki

OVERVIEW

Enthroned on an enviable stretch of sand in Nea Moudania, Halkidiki, Ikos Oceania is a Greek beach resort that spoils its guests with heavenly Aegean views and virtually endless complimentary treats. This is all-inclusive luxury, but perhaps not as you know it.

Ikos Oceania really couldn’t have picked a more quintessentially Greek location for its Halkidiki bolthole; enveloped as it is by fragrant trees and the glittering Aegean Sea, just a 40-minute drive from Thessaloniki Airport in northern Greece. Manicured gardens are interspersed with the bright white guestrooms here, accented with shades of blue and flaunting superlative sea views through floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto furnished patios. While every room comes with a complimentary minibar that’s restocked daily, there are special perks in the higher categories, such as the Deluxe Collection which offers exclusive access to a separate pool.

That said, the main swimming pool is at the heart of Ikos Oceania and is too tempting to resist, particularly with the complimentary wait service that’ll ensure you’re kept refreshed throughout the day. The same can be said for those who want to lounge on the beach, with its own efficient bar service that’ll mean you won’t need to lift a finger. This is also where exciting watersports take place, though there are countless activities to also try out including tennis, gym classes, squash, biking, diving, volleyball, badminton, football; and many more. Having worked up an appetite then, you can choose from six fantastic restaurants to fuel up at. From one day to the next you could be sampling authentic Greek fare, Italian delicacies, French dishes or Asian specialties, to name a few; plus, the hotel encourages you to eat out in Nea Moudania at local restaurants – all included in your rate.

Put it together, with the various kids clubs, live shows, many bars and chance to explore Halkidiki by MINI courtesy of the hotel, and it’s soon obvious Ikos Dassia really has thought of everything.
