OVERVIEW
First things first, Grayshott is most definitely not just a spa. Unlike a health spa or day spa, a spell at Grayshott will seek to improve your overall health and wellbeing, whether you’d like to kick-start your fitness levels, begin a healthy eating regime, give yourself a good once-over in terms of bodily retuning or maybe just be pampered from head (craniosacral therapy) to toe (pedicure).
As well as a frankly enormous spa menu that you couldn’t possibly hope to get through, even in a full week, you’ll find healthy cuisine aimed to help your gut feel in tip-top condition and a full programme of fitness classes.
The hotel itself is set in a charming manor house with sweeping lawns joining up with a large National Trust property, so there are lots of walks you can embark on in the fresh air. The house is calm and restorative and the service wonderfully attentive but never overbearing. Its staff clearly contribute to its success, so much so that five of the team have been at the spa for more than 25 years, meaning a combined 125 years of experiences. Quite the feat.
