The Asimina Suites Hotel offers peace and solitude on the quiet side of Kato Paphos, set on a quiet stretch of private beach lined with cabanas. This is for grown ups only, as under 16s aren’t permitted – no dive bombing in the pools here, unless you choose to do so yourself.

There are plenty of activities designed for a more discerning audiences, with two lovely connected swimming pools with Jacuzzi jets and an indoor pool too. Down on the beach the attentive staff will keep you fully cossetted in the way you have become accustomed with beach towels, sun beds, umbrellas and beach amenities.

As well as the facilities at the Asimina, which also include a tennis court, you’ll also have use of the bowling greens at the hotel’s neighbouring sister hotel, at a supplement.

With floor-to-ceiling windows, light-wood furnishings and a neutral colour scheme with subtle splashes of ocean blue, the suites at Asimina are both stylish and spacious. Hop on a bus to Paphos harbour and explore its bustling waterfront tavernas, souvenir shops and UNESCO Archaeological Park featuring Roman mosaics before heading to The Tombs of the Kings, another UNESCO-listed gem. Back at the hotel, soak up the sun by the pool, wander down the private jetty with steps into the sea, or enjoy a relaxing sauna or treatment at the Elixir spa.

There’s plenty of culinary choice on offer at Asimina Suites. From Cypriot and international plates, buffets, cooked-to-order dishes, and a fine-dining a la carte menu you’ll be spoilt for choice.
