Cap Estel

OVERVIEW

Jutting out of a promontory on the glitzy Côte d’Azur, Cap Estel is a Riviera chic bolthole facing onto the great expanse of the Mediterranean. In a romantic setting just outside the picturesque village of Eze, the family-owned hotel is cushioned amid groves of palm trees and luxuriant terrace gardens, beneath which you’ll discover a private stony beach, secluded from prying eyes and furnished with sun loungers.

The original building, Le Cap, is a landmark in the local area and was built in 1899, a flawlessly presented villa that could be straight from an F. Scott Fitzgerald chronicle. The outside is decorated subtle tones of elegant taupe and cream, while inside the hotel shows its sassy side with vivid works of art in Crayola-bright colours.

Despite its intimate size and atmosphere Cap Estel is extremely well equipped, with an impressive array of facilities including an opulent spa and huge gym overlooking the sea. Pack your most stylish swimwear for relaxing next to the saltwater infinity pool, which has a hot tub and a sundeck for soaking up the rays. Inside you’ll find a soul-reviving spa, complete with a sauna, indoor pool and hammam.
